Lauraine Russell has pure talent. This artist was brought to us on March 22 1943, in Vancouver, BC.   Growing up, Lauraine liked painting, and sports. She started taking painting lessons at the age of  six.   Ever since, she’s been a dedicated painter, with lots of master pieces to prove it.

Lauraine works with acrylics and watercolors.  Her favourite things to paint are boats, landscapes, flowers, and animals. Throughout her life, Lauraine has painted over 100 different paintings.    About  1/3 are of flowers.  Even though she is proud of all her work, the painting Lauraine is most proud of is, Row Boat image called REFLECTIONS .  "It  was the most difficult to acheive", Lauraine says, " the color contrast with the back ground making the boats stand out" It was this piece that got her accepted to the Canadian Water Color Society(An organization for artists), and it is very hard to be among the accepted.
